The heart of the Pro Series is Gearbox’s acclaimed Patent (No.US 10,377,093) Solid Span Technology (SST). SSTCore™ is composed of multiple carbon fiber ribs that run parallel to one another and along the length of the paddle face to create the most advanced core in pickleball. This one-of-a-kind core creates a sophisticated and efficient energy-transfer system that is engineered to effectively capture and amplify energy for an explosive and responsive performance. With SSTCore™, players experience unparalleled power, control, precision and durability, making each shot a dynamic display of Gearbox’s commitment to innovation. Energy in—performance out
Explosive Power | On Demand
The patent-pending Power Matrix enhances SSTCore’s energy transfer, boosting power efficiency from the core to the face to deliver unmatched explosive power on demand. It maximizes energy output between the core, paddle frame, and handle, enabling significant dwell time and efficient control of energy from the core to the paddle face. This construction optimizes power, enhances controlled play, and provides stability. The Power Matrix stores and releases more energy upon ball impact, resulting in greater force and accuracy, significantly improving the paddle’s overall performance for a powerful, precise, and responsive playing experience.
The Pro Series redefines paddle engineering with a first-of-its-kind cured textured ply on internally pressurized molded paddles. Gearbox TXR Surface Grip Technology is a pioneering advancement in pickleball paddle design, marking the first successful application of a cured textured ply on internally pressurized molded paddles. This groundbreaking technology enhances player experience by amplifying feel, spin, and sweet spot dynamics through optimized deflection and the interaction of our SSTCore™ Technology, now finely segmented. The textured surface ply provides unmatched tactile feedback, offering players precise control and spin manipulation, while an expanded sweet spot ensures consistent and powerful shots, even on off-center hits. Gearbox continues to lead the industry with innovations that redefine the possibilities of pickleball paddle design.
Large Sweet Spot | Stability
The improved twist weight provides more stability, enlarges the sweet spot and delivers pinpoint accuracy and consistency.
Vibration Control | Comfort
Smart Dampen Technology reduces vibration for a plush, controlled touch, enhancing comfort and shot mastery.
Maximized Spin | Feel
Enhanced dwell time offers superior ball grip for effortless shot shaping and powerful spin.
